Tone Langage Perception and Production in Singers, Instrumentalists and Non-musicians’

Aim: The study will compare singers, instrumentalists and non-musicians on speech perception and production

Target: Instrumentalists, singers, and non-musicians of non-tonal languages (e.g., English, Spanish, German, Italian and Russian); Never learnt tone languages (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, and Vietnamese)

Duration: around 60 minutes

Content: Participants will complete speech perception and production experiments on 7/F, Meng Wah Complex, The University of Hong Kong.

** Upon completion of all tasks involved, you will receive an honorarium of HKD$100
